Our students’ shortlisted film along with other local schools have been showcased at the Matinee for the the Film by the Water at Scotty’s Cinema today! 🎬✨

Tonight is the night of all nights, a red carpet event where the winners will be announced!
We can’t wait to celebrate their incredible creativity and hard work.

We are delighted to tell you that our school community raised 💰$435.50 for the Gotcha4Life charity last Friday.

🏉 Jersey Day – Be There for an Offload 🏉
What a great day at Medowie Public School! 🙌
Our students looked fantastic in their favourite sporting jerseys as we celebrated Jersey Day and supported Gotcha4Life.
It was wonderful to see so many students getting involved and showing their team spirit, while also helping us share an important message about connection, kindness, listening and looking out for one another.
Our message for the day was:
“Be there for an offload.” 🏉
Just like teammates support each other on the field, we can all be there for the people around us.
A big thank you to our Stage 3 Student Leaders for helping promote the day and taking the 📷!!
Also thank you to our students, families and staff for getting behind this important cause.
And a special shout-out to our staff who joined in by wearing their favourite jerseys too! 👏

🐾 The Kangaroos class has been hopping into learning all about place value and metric conversions! 🦘 Through a fun hands-on game, they raced to plot the most decimal numbers on the number line — strengthening their decimal place value skills one step at a time. 📏🔢

Medowie High School across the road has launched a brand new page👏👏.
Principal Kylee Beasley has made the very first post, and they're looking forward to connecting with our local community.📌

We’re excited to officially launch the page for Medowie High School, a brand new school and the beginning of something very special.
As Principal, I feel incredibly privileged to be part of establishing this school and, most importantly, building a community where every student feels known, valued, supported and inspired to achieve their best.
There is so much happening behind the scenes as we prepare our school, developing learning spaces, purchasing resources, welcoming staff, connecting with families and our partner primary schools, planning transition, and putting all the pieces in place for our students.
Over the coming weeks and months, we will use this page to share our journey, introduce our wonderful staff, showcase the school as it takes shape, and keep our community up to date with important news and events.
Starting a new school is a once in a career opportunity, and I’m incredibly excited about what we are creating together.
