Early Childhood Educators’ Day! 🤩

Today WE SAY THANK YOU to Our Educators!

Early Childhood Educators’ Day recognises & celebrates the work of Australia’s educators in early learning services (long day care, family day care, kindergarten/preschools and occasional care) for their wonderful contribution to the wellbeing and healthy development of the young children in their care.

It’s our chance to say a huge THANK YOU to Australia’s early childhood educators on a very personal level by service operators, families and their children, as well as collectively at the national and state levels.

Information for FAMILIES - How To Get Involved

If you have a child who attends an early learning service, Early Childhood Educators’ Day is the perfect opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to your educators in your own special way!

You may like to do one of the following ideas on Wednesday 2nd September 2026, or if you’re not seeing your educator that day, on another day during the same week.

Together, you and your child/children might like to:
🔵 Make a 'thank you' card or a home-made gift
🟣 Create some art - a drawing, painting or decoration
🟢 Write a short story or poem about why he/she appreciates his/her early childhood educator
🟡 Pick some flowers from your garden
🟠 Make or bake something delicious to bring in on the day
🔴 Decorate and colour one of the printables on the 'Red Nose Resources webpage'
