Community Kids We provide long day care services for children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age.

Taking pride in our play-based philosophy, our qualified educators and team are here to support your child at every stage of their unique early learning journey. Community Kids McLaren Vale offers high-quality early learning and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Located in McLaren Vale, we provide long-day care and an accredited preschool program. Our purpose-built centre features two distinct outdoor play areas: one natural-grass space for Nursery with a sandpit, cubby house & mud kitchen; and a larger shared area for Toddlers & Kindy with a bike track, climbing fort, undercover sandpit & cubby house. We’re committed to innovation, sustainability, arts & crafts, upcycling, gardening, music and tailored learning plans. Led by passionate, qualified educators including a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher, our small, close-knit centre feels like family.

There’s something catching children’s attention in the foyer at Community Kids Old Coach Road. 💛

Our Emmy and Friends display often catches their eye as they arrive, leading to conversations about what they’ve been exploring with their Educators.

Children have been sharing stories, learning about their bodies and identifying safe people. They’ve even used hula hoops to explore their own “personal space bubble.”

Along the way, children are learning that their feelings matter, their personal space should be respected, and they can talk to someone they trust when they need help.

💙 Father's Day was full of special connections at Community Kids Horningsea Park.

Our children spent the afternoon with their dads and special father figures, sharing a delicious afternoon tea.

Together, they enjoyed simple moments at the centre, playing with playdough side by side, sharing fresh fruit, and curling up with a favourite book in our reading space.

Book Week at Community Kids Horningsea Park was full of fun and imagination! 💭

The children loved exploring our story baskets, discovering props from their favourite books and bringing familiar stories to life through play. Dressed as their favourite book characters, they proudly shared their costumes with friends and joined in counting stories together.

At Community Kids, emotional wellbeing is supported through the everyday moments children share with their educators. Moments of connection, reassurance, curiosity and conversation.
