ATTENTION Year 10 2026 Students and Families!

Our Year 11 2027 Subject Selection Evening will be hosted at JJ Cahill - School Library on Monday, 22 June 6:30pm.

On Tuesday 2 June, our junior Aboriginal girls participated in the Sista Speak mentoring program, connecting to culture and community. Under the guidance of Aunty Carrine Liddell, they explored the rich history of Shellwork, learning how these beautiful pieces are crafted and the importance of passing this knowledge through generations. The girls also enjoyed a special session with Avalon Pallier, focusing on skincare and wellbeing, they created their own lip scrubs using native ingredients. This program provides a safe place to come together and learn from our local Elders.

On Wednesday 3 June, we came together to celebrate National Reconciliation Week with an inspiring student-led assembly, followed by a beautiful afternoon tea prepared by Mr Truss and his Year 12 cookery class, featuring delicious dishes with native ingredients. A special thank you to Aunty Karen and all our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who led and supported the day, and to Ms Johnson and Ms Garden for leading such a powerful assembly with our kids.
