We’re back and ready for a big finish to 2026.

One lap. 400 metres. A Victorian title.

Year 12 student Darcy Thatcher is the Victorian 400m State Champion, crossing the line first at the UNCLOUD Victorian All Schools Track & Field Championships at Lakeside Stadium this weekend.

Results like this are built long before race day. They come from hours of training, the discipline to keep showing up and the resilience required to compete at this level.

We’re incredibly proud of what Darcy continues to achieve, but equally proud of the way she represents Highview each time she steps onto the track.

Congratulations, Darcy! 🥇

Ready to explore. 🌿🌊

Year 10 Duke of Edinburgh and Year 12 Outdoor Education students recently headed to Lorne for three days of adventure, challenge and hands-on learning along the Great Ocean Road.

From bushwalking through the Otways and crossing rivers to cooking their own meals and taking on the high ropes at Livewire Park, students were challenged to work together, adapt and build confidence in a completely different environment.

Along the way, they explored the cultural and geographical significance of the region, learning about the Traditional Owners’ connection to Country and considering the impact of settlement, tourism and recreation on the environment.

Taking on challenges, trying something new and discovering just how capable you can be along the way. That’s all part of being .

That’s a wrap on Term 3! ✨

As another busy term comes to a close at Highview College, we’re reflecting on a term filled with learning, achievement, connection and plenty of opportunities for our students to grow.

Across classrooms, co-curricular activities and community events, our students have continued to challenge themselves, try new things, step outside their comfort zones and discover what they’re capable of.

Along the way, they’ve built confidence, resilience, independence and the skills to embrace new experiences, navigate challenges and make the most of every opportunity, at school and beyond.

Thank you to our wonderful students, staff and families for the energy, commitment and support you’ve brought to our College community throughout Term 3.

We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved break, with time to rest, recharge and spend time with family and friends.

Here’s to everything Term 4 has in store.

Happy Father’s Day to the dads, grandfathers and father figures who help shape the people we become.

There’s something special about celebrating the men who guide us, support us and love us, always.

This week, we celebrated exactly that, welcoming our Highview dads and father figures on campus for our annual Father’s Day Breakfast. Over breakfast, conversation and plenty of laughs with world class comedian Simon Taylor, it was a wonderful morning spent with the people who mean so much to our students and our community.

Thank you to all those who attended, we hope all our Highview dads and father figures have had a very happy Father’s Day. 💙

And that’s a wrap! 🎭✨

Three incredible performances of Matilda Jnr, and what a way to close the curtain.

We couldn’t be prouder of our 100+ cast and crew, whose talent, commitment and energy lit up the Geoff James Theatre. With two performances sold out, thank you to our wonderful Highview community for showing up in such numbers and making this production so memorable.

A special thank you to our brilliant educators, whose encouragement and belief help our students discover what they’re capable of and give them the confidence to step into the spotlight.

From first rehearsal to final curtain, Matilda Jnr has been a celebration of talent, teamwork and the courage to be brave.
