Maryborough Special School

Dear Families,

We would like to inform our school community that Karen Folley has had to take some unexpected leave and will be away until the end of term.

During this time, Shellie Pursey will be acting as Principal. Many of our families already know Shellie through her leadership roles within our school, and she is looking forward to continuing to work closely with students, staff, and families to support our school community.

Shellie is passionate about ensuring every student feels safe, supported, and successful, and is excited to lead the school during this period while maintaining the strong partnerships we have with our families.

We wish Karen all the best and look forward to welcoming her back. Thank you for your ongoing support.

In EY3 maths lessons, students have been exploring capacity and the vocabulary used to describe and compare it.

Seniors have set up the Mother’s Day stall and we are all ready and excited to sell tomorrow

Welcome to Term 2. Seniors have been busy straight back into working, learning and refining their skills in various areas of the curriculum. Swimming has started and our first lesson went well. Students have been doing the laundry twice a week, cooking meals and participating in the Anzac Day ceremony.
