🌱 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙖𝙩 𝘼𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡

The Resilience Project is a school wellbeing program used within our school, to help students currently in Years 7 -9 to build mental health, resilience, and happiness. Students in these year levels have been participating in lessons since the start of the year.

🎯 Purpose
The program aims to:
• Improve students’ mental wellbeing
• Help students cope with challenges (resilience)
• Build strong social and emotional skills

It takes a whole-school approach, meaning it involves:
• Students
• Teachers
• Families and carers

𝗙𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼
All Year 11 students recently attended the Fraser Coast Careers Expo, gaining valuable insight into the many pathways available after school.

Throughout the day, students engaged in meaningful conversations with industry representatives, explored a wide range of career options, connected with local businesses, and learned about university and further education opportunities. The expo provided students with the chance to ask questions, gather information, and begin thinking about their future goals and aspirations.

Experiences like these help students make informed decisions about subject selections, training pathways, employment opportunities, and tertiary study as they prepare for life beyond school.

A big thank you to the organisers, exhibitors, universities, training providers, and local businesses who took the time to share their knowledge and inspire our students.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank our Year 10 Hospitality students who assisted throughout the event. Their professionalism, willingness to help, and positive attitude contributed to the success of the day and provided them with valuable real-world industry experience.
