Last week, our Year 11 Business class headed to Bundaberg to see global business operations and marketing in action! The students toured the Bundaberg Brewed Drinks Master Brewery, getting a first-hand look at how this iconic local brand operates on a worldwide scale. A huge thank you to Ronnie and Amanda for an incredibly informative and impressive tour of the production facilities!
Next stop was The Barrel, where the students dived into real-world marketing strategies. The best part? Sampling the full range of famous flavours and choosing their own 6-pack to take home!
It was a fantastic day that perfectly connected classroom theory with global business.
Thank you again to the amazing hosts at Bundaberg Brewed Drinks! Congratulations to our Business students who were exceptional role models for Aldridge, engaging deeply throughout the day and asking insightful questions. Great work everyone!

π Aldridge Rams Rugby League Camp | Tannum Sands π
Our recent Aldridge Rams Rugby League Camp to Tannum Sands was an experience that will stay with our students for a long time.
Across the camp, our players were challenged both on and off the field, and the growth witnessed was outstanding. The highlight was undoubtedly our matches against Tannum Sands SHS, where the true strength of our program was on display. While the results were important, it was the improvement in our team's connection, communication and willingness to play for one another that stood out most. The camp provided countless opportunities for students to build friendships, strengthen existing bonds and create memories together.
A special thank you to Sam Barrow and Tannum Sands State High School for their hospitality and generosity in hosting us and providing access to their outstanding Performance Centre. The opportunity to learn and compete in a new environment added immense value to the camp and is greatly appreciated.
Congratulations also to our Best on Ground performers recognised by Tannum Sands SHS Rugby League students:
π
Junior Boys: John Baker
π
Senior Boys: Brody Therkelsen
Finally, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our valued partners whose ongoing support helps create opportunities like this for our students. Thank you to Maryborough Sports Club, Robertson's Fabrication, BJD Personal Training, Maryborough Wallaroos RLFC, and Dolphins NRL Development. Your investment in our student continues to provide experiences that develop not only rugby league players, but quality young people.
The camp was a fantastic reminder that rugby league is about far more than what happens on game day. It's about connection, belonging, resilience and building lifelong friendships.
