Feeling good today! Fresh new sand has been added to our sandpit and it’s all ready for the kids to enjoy this week. 🏖️
There’s nothing better than watching little ones dig, build, pour and explore. Sand play is always a favourite and a great way for children to use their imagination and develop their sensory and fine motor skills.
I can’t wait to see what creations the children come up with!

Look what we did this afternoon!
The trampoline is up and ready to go 🙌🤸‍♀️
All set for me to open next week, and I know the FDC children are going to absolutely love it!
A big thank you to Rissa’s dad, mum, and Uncle Kev for all your help — couldn’t have done it without you 💙

🎅🎄 Christmas Magic in the Making 🎄🎅

The children worked incredibly hard to finish off their Santa and Reindeer plates, carefully making sure every part was just right before setting them aside over the weekend. As they need time to dry before cooking, today I have been busy cooking them and allowing them to cool in the oven. The children will begin taking them home as a special Christmas keepsake for Santa and his reindeers on Christmas Eve 🦌✨

They also created their special letters to Santa, carefully checking that everything was perfect before sending them on their way ❤️✉️

Our elves left a very special poem for everyone to listen to:

“We've seen you writing letters, each wish and Christmas dream.
You're doing such a lovely job, a perfect Santa team.
Before I fly to Santa, through the frosty snowy night,
Please check your letters carefully, make sure they're just right.
When everything is finished, we will deliver them to Santa
at the North Pole tonight.”

The children listened carefully and proudly checked over their letters one last time before placing them with the others, ready for the elves to take on their magical journey to the North Pole ❄️🎁

Such a beautiful, festive moment filled with care, pride, and Christmas excitement 🎄

World Kindness day 💛 13.11.25
This morning, we celebrated World Kindness Day with a special handprint activity. Each child shared how they can be a good friend:

🌟 Arlo – “Play”

🌟 Paisley – “Give cuddles”

🌟 Mariah – “Be nice and give hi-5s”

🌟 Chinonso – “Be nice”

🌟 Leah - When my friends are sad, I play with them

Some children practised tracing over their dotted names, and wrote the date too. They all then coloured in their handprints beautifully.

The children then added some finishing touches to their artworks with stickers — love hearts, stars, and little apples with kind words inside.💕

It was such a lovely day filled with friendship, fun, and kindness!
