📚 Reading with Junior Kindy: Growing Little Learners 🌟
In Junior Kindy, reading time is one of our favourite parts of the day. Whether we’re sharing picture books, rhyming stories, or interactive tales, these moments help build strong foundations for early literacy.
We love seeing the children choose their favourite stories and engage so enthusiastically with books. These early experiences help build confidence and support lifelong learning.
Our Junior Kindy readers are curious, eager, and always ready to explore new stories!
Learning Outcomes:
5.1 Children interact verbally and non-verbally with others for a range of purposes.
5.2 Children engage with a range of texts and gain meaning from these texts.

🍼 Baby Care & Washing in Pre-Kindy: Learning Through Role Play 🧼
In Pre-Kindy, role-play is an important part of learning, and our baby care and washing area has become a wonderful space for children to explore real-life routines in a fun and meaningful way.
Through caring for baby dolls—washing them, drying them, dressing them, and engaging in simple care routines—Pre-Kindy children are developing.
These experiences help children make sense of the world around them, especially as many begin to notice babies at home or within their community. Watching the children gently care for the dolls shows just how capable and thoughtful they are at this age.
We love seeing our Pre-Kindy children engage in such rich, imaginative play that builds confidence, independence, and empathy.
Learning Outcome 1: Children have a strong sense of identity
Learning Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners

Did you know children develop both fine and gross motor skills through everyday play? 🧠
🖍 Fine motor skills involve small movements such as holding pencils, threading beads, or buttoning clothes.
🏃♂️ Gross motor skills use large muscle groups by running, jumping, climbing, and balancing!
At our centre, we create fun opportunities for both, helping children build strength, coordination, and confidence every day.

A Day in the Life with 3a. ✨
Each day across our centres is full of learning, curiosity, and connection! Using the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a), we weave all four core areas -conversational reading, language games, learning through play, and responsive interactions—into the daily learning curriculums.
From morning greetings to mealtimes, play sessions, and group activities, every moment becomes an opportunity to support your child’s language, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
