🌿🌏 Stage 2 Explore Brewongle Environmental Education Centre! 🌏🌿

Our Stage 2 students enjoyed a fantastic day of hands-on learning at Brewongle Environmental Education Centre!

Throughout the day, students put their mapping skills to the test as they explored the centre, investigated Aboriginal Peoples’ sustainable practices and consolidated their understanding of how we can care for and protect our environment for future generations. 🌱🗺️

We are incredibly proud of the way our students demonstrated our school values, being safe, responsible and respectful learners throughout the entire excursion. Even an unexpected bus breakdown on the way home couldn’t dampen their spirits! 🚌👏

What a wonderful day of learning, exploring and making memories! 💚

Today our Year 6 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students created artworks and built connections with fellow First Nations students from Melonba High School.

A big thank you to Mrs Roberts and students for joining us and making it a special experience.
