Our recent Fathers' and Special Friends' Open Morning was a wonderful opportunity to welcome and celebrate the special people in our children's lives. Children and families enjoyed a delicious morning tea and engaged in a variety of shared learning
experiences and Father’s Day activities.

The ELC was filled with excitement as children proudly shared their learning and created special memories with their loved ones. We are incredibly grateful to all the family members and special friends who joined us and continue to enrich our ELC community through their ongoing support and involvement. Thank you for making the morning so memorable.

Last Friday night, we opened the doors for our 2026 Contemporary springART, proudly presented by Booth Real Estate. With more than 300 people in attendance, the College was buzzing with energy and excitement.

We were incredibly fortunate to have former Adelaide Fringe CEO Heather Croall officially open the evening, with DJ Driller on the decks providing a lively atmosphere. It was so great to see such a fantastic mix of current parents, Old Scholars, past parents and members of the wider Loreto community come together to enjoy this very special event. We feel incredibly privileged to host such a spectacular celebration of art at the College each year.

With an incredible collection of artworks from more than 60 South Australian artists, there was something to capture everyone’s attention. From painting and glass to sculpture and everything in between, the variety of mediums and styles made for a truly inspiring and vibrant exhibition.

We couldn’t let this one stay in the past! Back in 2013, our Year 6 ‘Soul Sisters’ took home GOLD at the FISAF National Aerobics Championships.

This weekend, we will be cheering on our nine Loreto teams as they head to the Gold Coast to compete at the FISAF National Aerobics Championships. Go Loreto!

Today at Loreto, on R U OK? Day, we are making time for connection and conversation.

Students took part in an RUOK Day Scrabble Challenge, teaming up across year levels to create the highest-scoring or most creative word using their Scrabble pieces. The winner (you'd want to look it up!): pseudepigrapha.

For our staff, it was a chance to pause and enjoy a fresh juice and a chat with a colleague.

Because sometimes, a simple conversation can make a big difference.

Congratulations to Ellie G, who achieved an outstanding result in the IPSHA Orators Competition, taking out first place overall! Ellie wrote and delivered her own original speech, ‘Singing to Your Sprouts – Science or Superstition’, before a panel of judges and competitors from IPSHA schools across Adelaide. Well Done, Ellie!
