👑 KING’S BIRTHDAY PUBLIC HOLIDAY 👑

Please note that Australian Martial Arts Academy will be CLOSED on Monday for the King’s Birthday public holiday.

✅ Saturday and Sunday classes will run as normal.

We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend and takes the opportunity to relax, recharge, and spend time with family. Classes will resume as normal from Tuesday.

🥋 Black Belt Preparation Session 3 complete!

With each preparation session, our students take another step closer to one of the most significant milestones in their martial arts journey, their Black Belt and Beyond Grading.

A Black Belt is far more than a belt around the waist. It represents years of dedication, perseverance, discipline, resilience, and a commitment to continuous improvement. It is the result of showing up when it’s hard, pushing through challenges, and refusing to give up.

Our candidates are working hard as they prepare for the upcoming Black Belt and Beyond Grading at the end of June, refining their techniques, building their fitness, strengthening their mindset, and supporting one another every step of the way.

For many, this grading represents not just the achievement of Black Belt, but the continuation of their martial arts journey as they strive towards higher levels of leadership, knowledge, and mastery.

We are incredibly proud of the effort, attitude, and determination being displayed throughout this preparation period. The finish line is getting closer, and we can’t wait to see these students showcase everything they have worked so hard to achieve.

Keep pushing forward. Keep trusting the process. The journey continues.

What an awesome night at Bounce! 🔥

Our Black Belt Club, Masters Club, Tricking and Junior Extreme Team members had an absolute blast getting together for an evening of flips, tricks, aerial skills, and plenty of fun.

Events like these are about more than just training. They help build friendships, strengthen our team culture, and give students the opportunity to challenge themselves in a different environment while creating great memories together.

It was fantastic seeing so many students encouraging one another, trying new skills, and representing the Australian Martial Arts Academy with such a positive attitude.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a great night. We can’t wait for the next Black Belt Club event!

Wonderful to have the opportunity to connect with so many passionate and motivated young people at the Future Leaders Conference hosted by Fort Street High School.

As a proud sponsor of the event, AMA was honoured to support a conference dedicated to developing leadership, resilience, and personal growth in tomorrow’s leaders — values that we strive to teach every day within our martial arts community.

AMA Instructor Mr Mark delivered a powerful and inspiring presentation, sharing his personal journey of overcoming chronic fatigue and the challenges that came with it. Through his story, students gained insight into the importance of perseverance, mindset, discipline, and continuing to move forward even when circumstances are difficult.

The event also featured valuable perspectives from Mack from Youth Leadership Academy Australia and Bella from Batyr, whose presentations encouraged students to think deeply about leadership, purpose, and the impact they can have within their communities.

It was encouraging to see so many young people engaging thoughtfully with the speakers, asking questions, and embracing opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.
