Darwin Kendo Club is the formal presence of Kendo community in Northern Territory. We are affiliated with the national organisation Australian Kendo Renmei.
Kendo (剣道), meaning the way of the sword, originated in Japan and is based on a mixture of different sword styles and schools dating back hundreds of years. Hey everyone. Our “have-a-whack” week is about to begin followed by the start of our beginner’s course. There was an error on our advertising poster.
The have-a-whack sessions will be at
6pm to 7:30pm on Wednesday the 22nd and 10am to 12pm on Sunday the 26th.
Come in and give kendo a try for free!
