Our school was "all in" for National Reconciliation Week last week.

One of our ex-students, Dash, was recently named as a finalist in the 2026 Young Archie competition. His work, Catch of the Day, is a tribute to his grandfather who passed away last year. His artwork truly captures his grandfather's spirit.

If you get a chance, please go see this entry plus others at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, on exhibition until the 16th of August.

Congratulations to Dash for such a stunning and talented portrait.

Today, our student leaders (and some of their siblings) attended the local ANZAC Day commemoration to pay their respect to our past and present servicemen and servicewomen.

They heard about the courage, resilience and mateship displayed during the toughest of times.

Lest we forget.

The Easter Bunny has arrived at MJPS, just in time for the Easter Hat Parade.

Thanks to Ms Moore and Ms Glenn, and our P&C for organising the Easter Bunny's presence. I wonder if the Bunny has made a secret delivery to classrooms.

With 40+ cultures at our school, we ate our way around the world today! What an amazing Harmony Day luncheon we had.

EVERYONE BELONGS / CULTURE CONNECTS US ALL

Harmony Week celebrates the diversity of our students in culture and language backgrounds, promotes inclusivity, builds respect, and fosters community cohesion.

Our school will be holding a multicultural lunch on Thursday, 19 March, from 12:30 - 1pm.

Students are asked to wear their traditional cultural dress or orange clothing, with closed-in shoes, and bring a plate of food to share with their peers which reflects their cultural background. Please label all ingredients so we can help manage students with food allergies.

There will be no lunch orders from the canteen that day. The canteen will open for snack purchases only.

Year 6 campers spent yesterday ploughing through the rain, having the time of their lives apparently.

Apologies in advance for the bag of wet clothing coming your way on Wednesday!

Not many photos to share with you due to poor mobile reception, unfortunately, but Willis' face says it all - fun, fun, fun!

No-one says it better than Ms Stamatellis.

Thank you to everyone for supporting our school so strongly this year. We wish you a safe and happy break from school. See you in the new year.
