Everyone fought with great spirit regardless if placed or not.

Our branch did exceptionaly well across the board.

2026 Victorian Championships just wrapped up and I am thrilled to share the results.

We had two competitors from Maroubra and one from Coogee take part this year.

Alexander had a large draw and after 5 rounds he won the 3rd place fight off. Nothing beats the sheer grit and determination young kids learn from tournaments. Alexander has been competing since he was 4 years old.

Senpai Tadeo from Coogee won the open ligtweight title and our Senpai Nicholas is coming home with middleweight title. Tuesday night is continuing its tradition... Both Senpai Tadeo and Senpai Nicholas competed in the world tournament in Japan last year and the experience they gained from that was evident on the mat today. Congratulations also to their squad coaches Sensei Lisa and Sensei Ai.

Congratulations to everyone that competed.

Our NSW Championship are coming up soon on the 24th May and look forward to that also.

What an incredible day at the Coogee Interclub tournament yesterday. Thank you Coogee Kyokushin Karate Dojo for hosting another great event.
