What a huge 6 week block we just completed at SCAC! Just a few of the things we covered were self tapes, commercial scripts, presenting style, showreels, casting profiles, marketing and comedy improv and more. Our final class was completed online due to today’s circumstances, but was still a hit. Hi 👋🏼 I’m Holly. The owner and creative director of Sunshine Coast Actors Collective. I felt there was a need on the Sunshine Coast for a Screen focused creative space. As an actor myself I realize how much we need to be consistently in a place where we are working our acting muscles. Just like an athlete, actors have muscles that need to be trained and stretched so we are ready for game day. So when the audition or the booked role comes up you are ready for whatever you’re faced with. I am hugely passionate about the industry and this is what I bring to SCAC my passion and dedication to sharing that with new or seasoned actors. My focus in SCAC is to provide a safe and creative space for actors to immerse themselves in weekly, and also bring in directors, educators, casting directors and filmmakers from around Australia to learn from and develop your craft. We welcome actors of any level to come in and see what we are all about and anyone interested in the industry. I believe the Sunshine Coast has a lot of talent and potential to be a hotspot location for future film and tv projects and want to help you be ready for that. Not to mention the amazing productions we have had, and are upcoming, in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast.
