Pendragon workshops

In this 5-day boot making course you will make a pair of Derby lace up boots. We’ll take you through the process of choosing lasts, basic design, pattern making, cutting, skiving, decorating leather, sewing, making components and insoles, lasting, soling and finishing. We’ll use natural leathers so you can explore different leather decorating techniques. Suitable for people with some sewing experience and an interest in learning pattern making and footwear construction.

In this workshop you will complete a pair of sandals from start to finish.
$225 per person (minimum 5) You can also buy gift vouchers for this workshop on our website.
Make a pair of sandals in a day to fit you! We will teach you basic sandal design, leather cutting and decorating, sewing, lasting and soling. No experience necessary. Lots of fun - a very social and inspiring day. A great introduction to shoemaking techniques.
Decorating techniques include leather dying, stamping, pyrography and more.
A great workshop for getting an overview of skills for other shoemaking courses.

What an awesome sandal making workshop yesterday. Only five people because of Adelaide lockdown preventing a couple of people from coming. But it was a great little group and some amazing creations!

Sandal workshop
We have had a couple of cancellations for our sandal workshop this Sunday the 25th July.
The beginners sandal workshop is a great way to try shoemaking and learn basic leather work, and you get to walk away with a pair of your own creations that fit you!
