Our Year 10 young people headed off to Cotton Tree Park recently for a scavenger hunt. They learnt how to follow directions, pay attention to detail, read and interpret instructions and work as a team.

Volunteering endless hours of his time and gaining extensive experience in diesel mechanics, Taine reached a well-deserved milestone when he was signed up by City Generators. Operations Manager, Mick, was impressed by Taine’s employability skills, his work ethic and his remarkable effort in the workplace. Congratulations Taine, an outstanding achievement!

Our young people listened in awe as Darren, Emu Gully CEO, and Emu Gully staff gave a moving account of Anzac Day and reiterated through a fun game how we at the AITC should continue to live by the Anzac values in which we believe. Thank you to our Emu Gully Adventure Education Group visitors.

With 130 young people back at the AITC Sunshine Coast Campus and many seniors out at work experience and at their apprenticeship employers, it was a great start to Week 6.
