Next Saturday, 18 July, Hastings Street will transform into one of Australia's most prestigious motoring showcases — and it's completely free to attend.

Among the collection of luxury vehicles on display, you'll find the Brabham Anniversary Collection.

Celebrating 60 years since Sir Jack Brabham's unforgettable 1966 Formula 1 World Championship victory, the display will feature two historic Brabham race cars from the private collection of Sunshine Coast Jet Centre and Flight Options founder, Steve Padgett OAM, including one driven by Sir Jack during the 1967 Formula 2 season.

Steve and Sir Jack shared a passion for aviation and motorsport, and after meeting at Bankstown Airport, they forged a lifelong friendship, making this display even more meaningful.

Being a great airline pilot is about more than flying.

Our Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) Course students arrive with extensive flying experience. But until now, they've largely operated as single-pilot decision makers.

The first step of the MCC course isn't learning new flying techniques. It's learning how to operate as part of a professional airline crew.

Students learn how to communicate effectively, work as a team, manage human factors risks, make decisions under pressure and apply the principles of Crew Resource Management. They do all of this while considering the many people who contribute to an airline operation, from ground staff and air traffic controllers to dispatch teams, cabin crew and sometimes even unruly passengers.

Because airline flying isn't just about flying an aircraft. It's about managing information, mitigating risk and responding to unexpected challenges as a team.
