Our Year 12 legends Monty, Trent and Harry swapped their school uniforms for sharp suits and took to the runway thanks to the amazing team from TAROCASH!

A huge thank you to Amelia and Maya for styling the boys and showcasing a fantastic range of formal wear ahead of our Year 12 Last Roar celebrations. From classic looks to modern styles, our students were given plenty of inspiration for their big night.

The highlight? A school-wide catwalk! While there were a few nerves before stepping out, the boys quickly found their confidence and owned the runway, earning plenty of cheers from their peers.

This is Asha at Doggie Adventure Playhouse, where she is enthusiastically building her knowledge of dog behaviours and truly thriving in her placement. She showed great confidence and a genuine passion for her work, quickly picking up new skills and applying them with ease—it’s clear she’s really paws-itively excelling! It was fantastic to see how engaged and motivated she is in this environment. Asha will be stepping into a VAP role next term—an exciting and well-deserved achievement. Well done, Asha!

We visited Rosie during her SAT placement at Gentle Dental, where her employer spoke very highly of her performance. They shared how extremely proud they are of Rosie and were particularly impressed with how quickly she has picked up her learning and adapted to the workplace. It was clear that she is making a positive impression and developing her skills at a strong pace.

Early start at SC Turf Club to check in on Lilli, who’s absolutely smashing her Stable Hand traineeship with Jamie Bayliss. She’s taken the reins and is confidently leading the team day to day—great to see!

Last round of White Card and Trade Tasters from start of year Rookies…phew…we got there! All looking ready for 7 days of TAFE! Well done!

It’s been another fantastic week of hands-on learning and new experiences for our students out in the workplace.

We caught up with Daisy at Fresh Directions, where she’s settling in beautifully and enjoying the experience so far.

Cooper has been busy working on some impressive vehicles — including one from a well-known TV show (can you guess which one?).

Dom was spotted enjoying a well-earned lunch break while thriving in his placement at Tidal Edge Joinery.

And despite some wet weather, Campbell hasn’t missed a beat. Rain may have paused block laying, but he’s embraced a switch to cabinet making. His employer is excited to show him the ropes as he gets involved in kitchen installs and builds.

We love seeing our young people adapt, explore new pathways, and grow in confidence each week.

Equine Academy Excursion.

Today the Equine Rookies had the opportunity to visit the Sunshine Coast Racing Club, where they met Dan who discussed what their WEX week looks like and a tour of the facilities. They were extremely lucky to meet and pat the Melbourne Cup winner- Half Yours!
