Our book fair is ready to go! Open 3:30-4:00pm Monday to Thursday in the PAC. EFTPOS only.

Athletics Carnival - Important Changes

Due to the change of date and many staff members now being unavailable across the six schools, there have been a few changes to the day.

800-metre race
The 800-metre race will now be held at 2:00pm. This is a major change affecting those needing to drop their child/ren off earlier.

Buses
We have four buses booked, leaving Marong Primary School at 9:00am sharp.

Please ensure your child/ren are at school on time and go straight to their classroom to have their names marked off before boarding the buses.

The buses will leave Lar Birpa at the conclusion of the events, at approximately 2:30pm.

Picking up your child/ren from the athletics track
If you wish to pick your child/ren up directly from the athletics track, please ensure you are there by 2:30pm and see the classroom teacher before your child/ren depart.

Where students will be seated
Another change for the day is that students from all schools will be seated in the middle of the oval, rather than in the grandstand as in previous years.

Families are very welcome to attend and watch students competing. Families may follow their children around the track and events from outside the fence.

Please note that only adults who are registered volunteers and have their WWCC details recorded will be permitted onto the oval to assist with the carnival.

The Athletics Carnival set for tomorrow (Tues 11th Aug) is CANCELLED due to predicted wet weather and unsuitable track conditions.

The school will meet with the cluster and set a new date which will be circulated with our community as soon as possible.
