Over the past term, students have continued to enjoy rich arts experiences through the Country Education Partnership (CEP) and SPARK programs. These initiatives have provided valuable opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and confidence-building.

A recent highlight was RISK! – Asking for Trouble — an exciting physical theatre performance that combined acrobatics, storytelling, humour, and teamwork. These experiences, alongside our weekly music performance lessons, have inspired students to dive into songwriting and video production. 🎶🎥

That creative journey culminated in our end-of-year production, Santa Has Been Santanapped! — entirely written and performed by the students! ✨

Hosted at the school on 12 December, the performance was a joyful celebration of student creativity, confidence, and teamwork, and it was so special to see families and community members enjoying every moment. ❤️👏

Please be aware that during the school holidays, starting 14th July, the scheduled removal of the Marnoo Pool will commence, beginning with the safe removal of asbestos.
These works are being undertaken by the Victorian School Building Authority. We kindly remind the community to avoid entering school grounds while works are in progress.

On Friday 27 June, we proudly celebrated 150 years of education, community, and connection at Marnoo Primary School. From Alumni speeches and student performances, to the unveiling of our commemorative plaque, it was a truly memorable day shared with past and present students, staff, families, and community members.

Thank you to everyone who joined us — especially those who travelled from afar — and to the many people who helped bring this special celebration to life.

Marnoo Primary School is turning 150 — and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

A huge thank you to everyone who has registered to attend our special celebration next week. We’re so excited to welcome past students and families, former staff, and community members for an afternoon of memories, stories, and fun.
