Tonyi the Worm is teaming up with local bee enthusiast Caz from Beezentric for a fun, hands-on sustainability learning at the Redcliffe Museum!

Discover the secret life of bees and learn how regenerative, responsible beekeeping supports our environment. You’ll explore how to create native bee habitats and gain a deeper appreciation for these incredible pollinators.

Then it’s time to collect some scraps and feed Tonyi the Worm! 🪱 Meet our wriggly compost champions, learn how worm farming reduces waste, and see sustainability in action through interactive play.

This special session is part of the launch of the Redcliffe Museums’s new exhibition, Harvest — and it’s completely FREE.

What's On Moreton Bay

This morning, while picking up a Marketplace purchase, I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Karen in North Brissie—and wow, what an inspiring surprise! Out the front of her home sits an incredible community compost station and a little street library, all set up on her verge for neighbours to share and enjoy. 🌈🏡

Karen has been accepting neighbourhood compost scraps for four years now. She even has someone who walks over from the next suburb every Sunday just to keep their food waste out of landfill. How dedicated is that?! ♻️🪱

The library also doubles as a Friday-afternoon catch-up spot, where neighbours stop for a chat and a cheers under the poinciana tree. With Brisbane’s beautiful weather, imagine how lovely that must be. 🌳📚

Big cheers to Karen and her community-first spirit. Sustainability, connection, and kindness all rolled into one. 🌏✨

Join us for some worm farm learning early December at the Bunnings Rothwell special Christmas event! There will be lots of fun for families and Tonyi the Worm is looking forward to having a good feed from everyone at our stall there!

What a great opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit and maybe cross off some of your pressie list! (Who in your family would love to unwrap a wormfarm this Christmas?! 😉)

We loved our day in the Garden Party at the Moreton Bay Eco Fest!! Wonderful meeting families, chatting gardens and sharing a love of worms and healthy soil with the community.

Thank you eveyone who came along and fed Tonyi the Worm and our wiggle of worms today!! Lovely to have so many kind and creative young ones getting busy with their worm inspired art too.
