Book launch!
We are very excited to announce that Rev Dr Robert Hoskin is coming to Margs on 31 Oct - 1 Nov to launch his new book - "Magdalene: A Life Remembered." It's a Spiritual Memoir of Mary Magdalene, contributing to the recovery and celebration of the Feminine in our tradition.
Robert, as an accomplished Artist, was part of our Way of the Cross Art Exhibition over Easter 2026, and he has just released this beautiful painting for his book cover, depicting Mary the Migdalah (the Tower).
We will have a Contemplative retreat on the Saturday (31 Oct), and then on the Sunday (1 Nov) Robert will be interviewed during the Service, which will be followed by a Book Launch, including a talk with a Q&A.
Please put this exciting event in your calendars, it's sure to be a rare and nourishing retreat.

We’re seeking community feedback on a proposal for 11 social housing dwellings at 9 (Lot 136) Clarke Road, Margaret River.
The proposal includes:
🔹11 long-stay homes (6 one-bedroom and 5 two-bedroom)
🔹Retention of the heritage Railway Barracks timber structure as a pergola
🔹Storage sheds, parking, motorcycle bays and bushfire management works
The application will be assessed against the State Government’s Residential Design Codes and the Shire’s Local Planning Framework, including Local Planning Scheme No. 1.
