Ever wanted to try Cuban Salsa Rueda de Casino? This is the perfect place to start!

Rueda is a fun, energetic and social style of Cuban salsa that is taught and danced in a circle, with dancers constantly changing partners as the caller leads the moves. 🔄💃🕺

But here’s the great part — the moves and patterns you learn in Rueda aren’t just for the circle! ❤️

The same Cuban salsa movements, turns and partner-work can be used when you’re dancing with one partner on the social dance floor. So you’ll be learning skills that you can take straight from the Rueda circle onto the dance floor.

Whether you’re completely new to Cuban salsa or simply want to learn in a fun, social environment, come and join us!

Absolutely invaluable!
This is how I grew up with and i know what it’s done for me as a young adult. The confidence and skill I have now as an adult able to dance anywhere in the world!
I hope to bring this to the youth of our town and surrounds here on the Tablelands!

A dance that was nearly extinct is being revived.

Right through from the 1920s to the 1980s, people danced partner dancing. Arm in arm, moving together to live music. Then somewhere along the way, a whole generation grew up without it — without ever learning how to connect with another person on the dance floor.

Partner dancing is back and in full swing.

More and more, dance floors are filling up with people dancing arm in arm, the way it used to be.

And there's something special about partner dancing. The confidence it builds. No liquid courage required — just the music, a partner, and the willingness to try.

Here's to more nights like this, going out partner dancing with friends, and more dance floors filling up.

At the start of this year, we decided to host a social every Friday — and it’s been wonderful seeing so many of you on the dance floor! 💃🕺

As we’ve moved towards the end of the year, we’ve realised that hosting every Friday has become a little too much for the organisers as well as the dancers, especially with so much happening in our community every weekend.

So, as a dance company, we’ve decided to make a small change: we’ll now host ONE social each month, on the last Friday of every month. ❤️

Thank you for your continued support and for helping us keep our dance community thriving.
