📱 AusAlert National Test – Today, Monday 27 July

Parents, carers and students are reminded that a nationwide test of Australia’s new emergency warning system, AusAlert, will take place today at 1:30 pm (ACST).

During the test, compatible mobile devices will:
• Vibrate
• Play a loud, siren-like sound for approximately 10 seconds
• Turn on the screen to display the test message

Please note that this is only a test of the system and no action is required.

The test may cause some disruption to learning environments or concern for some students. To help minimise disruption, students are reminded to ensure mobile phones and other personal devices are switched off or on aeroplane mode during the test.

For more information, visit the AusAlert website.

Today marks the beginning of National Reconciliation Week 🖤💛❤️

This week is an opportunity for all Australians to reflect on our shared histories, celebrate the richness of First Nations cultures and achievements, and consider how we can each play a part in building stronger relationships and understanding.

The 2026 theme, All In, reminds us that reconciliation takes commitment from everyone — every day. Real change happens when we listen, learn, and work together for a more respectful and united future.

Today, on National Sorry Day, we reflect on the experiences of the Stolen Generations and acknowledge the courage, strength, and resilience of Survivors, their families, and communities.

This year’s theme, *From Sorry to Action*, reminds us that reconciliation is more than words — it is about listening, learning, and taking meaningful action toward understanding, respect, and healing.

As a school community, we recommit to playing our part in the ongoing journey of healing and reconciliation.
