Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers and father figures who play such an important role in the lives of our students and our wider College community.

Earlier this week, we came together to celebrate Father’s Day with a special Morning Mass and Father’s Day Breakfast, bringing our College community together in faith, gratitude and celebration. 🙏☕️🍳

It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise and thank the fathers and father figures who support, encourage and inspire our students each day.

From everyone at St Andrew’s College, Happy Father’s Day! 💙

🏎️🏁 STEM Racing Challenge at St Andrews College!

Our talented students from Years 7–10 recently put their skills to the test as they took part in the STEM Racing Challenge Regional Competition, hosted at St Andrews College!

Inspired by the exciting world of Formula 1, our teams applied their knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics to design, analyse, manufacture and race their very own model F1 cars. Using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and a block of balsa wood, students brought their ideas to life before putting their cars to the ultimate test on the track! 💨

The challenge extended far beyond racing, with students developing valuable skills in engineering, aerodynamics, design, manufacturing, communication, teamwork and problem-solving. Teams also produced an engineering drawing and presentation materials to showcase their design journey to the judging panel.

We are incredibly proud of all our students for stepping outside their comfort zones, embracing the challenge and representing St Andrews College with enthusiasm and determination. Competitions like these are about so much more than the final result—they are an opportunity to learn, grow, innovate and work together. 🌟

Congratulations to all of our STEM Racing students on a fantastic effort and a valuable learning experience! 👏💙

✨ Year 12 Retreat | Built for Greatness ✨

Our Year 12 students recently embarked on their three-day residential retreat, a meaningful culmination of their formation journey at St Andrews College.

Guided by the theme, “You were not built for comfort, you were built for greatness,” students were encouraged to reflect on their relationship with themselves, others and God, while considering what it means to be a Disciple of Christ in the world today.

Through group activities, moments of personal reflection and Sacramental celebrations, the retreat provided an opportunity for our students to pause, connect and reflect on their life journey and faith as they prepare for the next chapter beyond St Andrews.

We hope this special experience continues to inspire our Year 12 students to embrace the greatness they are capable of and carry their faith, values and experiences with them into the future. 💙🙏

🔬🐍 Celebrating Science Week at St Andrews College! 🌿

We wrapped up Science Week with an exciting and hands-on SnakeTails incursion for our Year 8 students!

As part of their Living World studies, students explored Australian organisms, classification and the incredible adaptations that help animals survive in their environments.

The interactive experience brought science to life, giving students the opportunity to get up close with Australian reptiles while engaging with their learning in a fun and memorable way. 🦎🌏

The session also included important snake safety education, including what to do if a snake is encountered at school or at home, helping students develop practical knowledge and confidence.

It was a fantastic, interactive way to bring science to life and finish a week of celebrating curiosity, discovery and learning at St Andrews College! 🔬✨

📸✨ Celebrating Creativity at the 2026 Alchemy Photography Competition

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of our Visual Arts and Photography students at the 2026 Alchemy Photography Competition, celebrating the creativity and unique perspectives of students across Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese.

Congratulations to Micaela. S, whose photograph 'These Dreams' entered under the category “Tomorrow's Memory”, was recognised as a Captivate Award-winning photograph. Inspired by the dreamy atmosphere of the Hunter Valley Gardens Summer Carnival, Micaela used grain and the soft hues of the sunset to create a beautiful, dreamlike atmosphere. Micaela has now been an Alchemy finalist for two consecutive years, with three photographs featured in this year's exhibition. 🌟

We are also incredibly proud to have two additional Year 9 finalists, Jasmine T. and Emily B., whose photographic works were selected for the exhibition. Congratulations to all three students on this wonderful achievement! 👏

A special thank you to our Visual Arts team, Mrs Harris, Mrs Kemal, and Mrs Sanders for supporting our students and nurturing their creativity as well as Mrs Kalifia, and Mrs Cairns for attending this wonderful occasion!

🎨📷 We are so proud to see our students' talent recognised and celebrated across our wider Catholic education community.
