Like many other early learning services, our Centre has been included on the list of locations released by the Australian Federal Police in relation to the recent media reports concerning a former childcare worker.
We understand this news is upsetting and want to provide some important context.
The individual's only association with our service was as an external presenter delivering professional development training for our educators on 27 April 2021, 12 August 2024 and 1 April 2025. These sessions were held after operating hours, no children were present or involved, and the individual was never employed by our Centre or involved in the care or supervision of children.
We provided the requested information to the AFP regarding these visits and have since been advised that no further information is required from our Centre. We are not aware of any concerns relating to our Centre or any child who has attended our service.
The safety and wellbeing of children remains our highest priority. We maintain rigorous child-safe recruitment and screening processes and are committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for every child in our care.
We understand families may have questions. If you would like to discuss this matter, please contact the Centre directly. We appreciate your continued trust and support.
