This is the third year that students from Kelso High Campus - Denison College in Bathurst have travelled to Longneck Lagoon to work with us as part of their Year 11 Biology depth study. We are continually impressed by the students from this school!

We had the pleasure of working with 1CR and all the other Stage 1 classes from Northbourne Public School over six fabulous days this term. What an engaged, curious and respectful group of young scientists they were!

🌿🦆 Preschool Excursion to Longneck Lagoon! 🐢🌿

Our Preschool children are getting ready for an exciting adventure to **Longneck Lagoon Environmental Centre! 🌱🔎

❤️ Preschool Red Class: Tuesday 17 November 2026
💙 Preschool Blue Class: Thursday 19 November 2026

This excursion will support our Preschool Dharug Language Program and provide our children with opportunities to connect with nature, learn about Country and develop their understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

📋 Permission notes: Permission notes will go home this week, please complete the paper permission note and return it to your child’s Preschool teacher before Week 9.

We can’t wait for our little learners to explore, discover and make some wonderful memories! 🌿🦋🐸

Today is Schools Tree Day! Here at Longneck Lagoon EEC, our General Assistants have recently been planting in the gardens around our buildings. They look brilliant and have added to the ecosystem at our school.
