WILDLIFE WEDNESDAY 🐸Striped Rocket Frog
Small but mighty, the Striped Rocket Frog is a familiar voice across Kabi Kabi & Jinabara Country after rain. Recognisable by the pale stripe running down its back, this agile native frog can make impressive leaps to escape predators and thrives around wetlands, creeks, dams and grassy waterways.
As an important indicator of healthy ecosystems, the presence of Striped Rocket Frogs tells us our waterways are supporting life. Every frog, every creek and every habitat plays a part in caring for Country.
