🎉 40 Years of The Range Community Kindergarten!

We’re turning 40, and we’d love you to come and celebrate with us!

For four wonderful decades, The Range Community Kindergarten has been a special part of our little community. A place where friendships have blossomed, memories have been made, and generations of children have played, explored and grown.

To celebrate this milestone, we’re bringing everyone together for a good old-fashioned Kindy Fete! 🌼

We warmly invite past, present and future Kindy families, former educators, committee members, friends, neighbours and our wonderful wider community to join us for a day of celebration, connection and a little nostalgia.

Whether you were part of The Range family 40 years ago or are only just discovering our little Kindy, we’d love to see you there.

There’ll be live music, delicious food, children’s activities, market stalls, face painting, and a very special Art Show & Silent Auction, along with our Lucky Penny Raffle filled with beautiful prizes generously donated by local businesses.

📅 Saturday 14 November

"Look! We found ladybugs!" 🐞

Spring has arrived, and our garden is bursting with life! The children have loved discovering flowers in bloom, spotting ladybugs, and helping to plant flowers for our busy bees.

Through these everyday moments of wonder, children are developing an appreciation for the natural environment and building meaningful connections with the world around them.

Today, we also get to specifically celebrate the incredible work and impact of all Early Childhood Educators!!

As quoted by Fred Rogers, “Anyone who does anything to help a child in his life is a hero." Our staff may not wear capes, but they are certainly heroes in the way they continually strive to support each child on their unique journeys. It really does take a big heart 💕.

Happy Early Childhood Educators Day!!

Not to brag, but we have some pretty awesome Educators here at The Range Kindy! From our longest serving member, Lyndi (who just celebrated 24 years of service!!) to Karina, Jasmin, Renee and Cassie who joined the team much more recently, and to the relief educators who jump in when needed, we are so thankful for each and every member.

Happy Teacher Aide Appreciation week!!

This week, our Magpie group have loved revisiting favourite play themes including birdwatching, zoo play and plenty of mud play! This evolved into the children creating their own binocular borrowing system.

Book Week also added extra magic with puppets, storytelling and of course, costumes! 👷👸🧙‍♀️🧚‍♀️🐦‍⬛🦋🦖🐛

A beautiful week of curiosity and imagination at kindy!

A huge thank you to Sunshine Coast Council for their generous grant, which funded the installation of our final two outdoor blinds from
In Curtains and Blinds.

This project began a few years ago, with the blinds being replaced gradually thanks to the incredible generosity of a number of community organisations. We are so excited to now see the project complete!!

The new blinds have transformed our outdoor space, making it a much more comfortable and usable area for children and families to enjoy throughout the year. Seeing this space used every day for play, learning, and connection makes us incredibly grateful for the support we've received.

We love using the children’s interests and discoveries to extend on their learning in natural and meaningful ways 🐸

What adventure is the frog on now, I wonder 🤔
