There will be no classes on Monday due to the King’s Birthday public holiday. All classes for the rest of the week will run as normal.

A lot of people think dances are created in one go, but it’s actually a lot of trying things, changing things, and occasionally wondering what on earth I was thinking. 😂
If something isn’t working, we adjust it. If it’s not quite right, we try again.
A good reminder for our dancers, progress doesn’t come from getting everything right the first time. It comes from being willing to keep working until you do. ✨

What an incredible day at our fundraiser! A huge thank you to all our amazing dance families and supporters who came along and cheered on our dancers. We are so proud and in awe of the talent, confidence and hard work shown by every student on stage, they truly shined.
Congratulations to Annie, Evie and Tessa for winning our choreography competition! The creativity and talent in our school continues to amaze us. A big thank you as well to Amy and Briella for taking the time to judge the competition.
Thanks to everyone’s support, we raised an amazing amount towards new equipment and studio improvements. We are so excited to finally replace our broken speaker, as well as some very well-loved studio curtains that have definitely been through years of dancers, little hands and lots of memories! A special thank you to Skye for kindly lending us a speaker this year to help get us through.
We hope everyone enjoyed the day, meeting our wonderful teachers and assistants, and celebrating dance together as a community. And of course, congratulations to our lead roles for The Firebird, we can’t wait to see you all shine on stage!

We may have made our LSSDance jumpers a little too good quality…
This one’s been around since 2016 and is still keeping dancers warm after years of classes, concerts, comps and being stuffed into dance bags.
So yes, our jumpers are on sale now.
If you don’t have one yet, now’s your chance.
And if you already have one… apparently they last forever, but maybe that just means you need a second one.

Just a reminder that our LSSDance Fundraiser Concert is on this Sunday the 24th at 1:30pm at the Mansfield Performing Arts Centre. We would love to see as many families there as possible supporting our dancers and all their hard work. Please invite friends and family along too, the kids have been working so hard and are excited to perform!
A small donation on entry would be greatly appreciated, with funds going towards new equipment and improvements to our studio to help keep creating the best possible space for our dancers to learn, grow, and shine.

First dance class? We’ve got you covered 💜
It’s not about having everything perfect on day one — it’s about feeling comfortable, staying hydrated, and being ready to give it a go. Wear something you can move in, bring a drink bottle (trust us, you’ll need it), and we’ll guide you through the rest.
Feeling a little nervous? Mum or Dad are more than welcome to stay and watch… and sometimes they might even need to jump in and join the fun too 😉
Uniforms and all the extras can come later — just show up and start dancing ✨
