🎉 Match Your Drink Bottle Week! 💧

From Monday 17th – Thursday 20th August, we’re adding a little extra fun to dance classes with Match Your Drink Bottle Week!

The challenge is simple… dress to match your drink bottle! 🩵💚💜❤️

Got a blue drink bottle? Wear blue! Pink bottle? Come in pink! It can be as simple as a coloured T-shirt, or if you’re feeling extra creative, go head-to-toe in your chosen colour!

We’ll be taking a fun class photo and there will be a prize for the most creative outfit. Most importantly, it’s just a chance to have a bit of mid-term fun together!

We can’t wait to see everyone’s colourful creations!

You might come to adult ballet for the dancing…

But your body and brain are getting so much more out of it.

Ballet is weight-bearing movement that supports strong bones, while improving balance, strength, coordination and mobility.

And your brain is working too — remembering combinations, listening to music and learning new movements. Research has even linked regular dancing with a lower risk of dementia.

So really… adult ballet is good for your body, your brain AND your soul.

And yes, it’s still allowed to just be fun.

Ballet is so much more than tutus and pink shoes.
That’s why we’ll always love ballet.

Today’s class was all about keeping those hips facing the front. But honestly, “dragons to the front!” is a lot more fun to say than “hips square.” 🐉🤣

Sometimes the simplest (and silliest) teaching tricks are the ones that work best.

Starting dance for the first time can bring up so many questions… and that’s completely normal!

Every one of us was once the little kid standing at the back of the studio, learning our first steps, feeling nervous before concerts and falling in love with dance. Now we get to be part of that journey for your little people, and we honestly don’t take that for granted.
