🏅 Our students were thrilled to welcome Olympian Jeremy Rolleston this week! Representing Australia in bobsleigh, Jeremy shared his incredible journey from rugby to the ice, transitioning into a completely new sport at an elite level.
He spoke about the power of resilience, embracing change, and the courage to step outside your comfort zone in pursuit of new goals. Students were captivated by Jeremy’s story of overcoming challenges, and pushing boundaries to reach Olympic competition, and how those same lessons can help them thrive in everyday life, whether at school, in sport, or beyond.
A huge thank you to Jeremy for inspiring our students to dream big, stay adaptable, and chase every opportunity! 🌟

Last Friday, seven of our Year 6 leaders, accompanied by Assistant Principal Mrs Raynsford, attended the annual Defence of Sydney Commemorative Service at North Head. The service honoured the 84th anniversary of the night Japanese mini-subs entered Sydney Harbour on 31 May 1942, a significant moment in Australia’s wartime history. We are incredibly proud of our student leaders for representing our school with such respect and maturity on this important occasion. James Griffin MP

A big thank you to our amazing Year 5 parents, led by the fantastic Sarah and Alannah, along with their team, for putting together such a fun and memorable event. Your hard work truly made the evening a success!
It was wonderful to see our community come together, from the creative costumes to the laughter and friendly competition, the atmosphere was electric.
Thank you as well to everyone who generously contributed to our raffle prizes, and to all who attended and supported the night. Events like this are what make our community so special.

We would like to sincerely thank the NSW Police Force for bringing a patrol car into the playground and taking the time to speak with our students about road safety. The hands-on experience and engaging chat helped reinforce important safety messages in a fun and memorable way.

Our Term 2 Playgroup began yesterday, creating a fun and welcoming space for future students to connect while exploring early writing skills through our school readiness program. Held every Wednesday at 9am in the school hall until 3 June, the playgroup is free, requires no registration, and is open to all pre-schoolers. On 27 May, we’re excited to welcome special guests from Evergreen Music, who will lead a lively, music-themed session. Don’t miss it!

Our Playgroup kicks off again this week on Wednesday 13 May from 9-10am. Everyone is welcome for a fun, community-based hour, led by our friendly Principal and senior students! These sessions have been developed exclusively for us, with a focus on gentle, play-based school readiness. Last term, the goal was based around reading and this time, it's all about writing!
