πŸ¨πŸβ˜€οΈ Kindergarten's Zoo Adventure! β˜€οΈπŸπŸ¨

On Friday, our Kindergarten students enjoyed a wonderful excursion to the zoo, filled with learning, discovery and plenty of excitement!

One of the highlights of the day was the Curious Creatures Workshop, where the children had the opportunity to get up close with some amazing Australian animals. They loved touching and learning about the creatures, discovering what they eat, where they live and how they survive in their natural habitats.

With the sun shining, the students also enjoyed a lovely walk around the zoo, exploring the different exhibits and spotting a variety of fascinating animals along the way.

It was a fantastic day of hands-on learning, and the children absolutely loved every minute of the experience!

A big thank you to our two parent helpers for supporting us throughout the day and helping make the excursion such a success. πŸ’š

πŸŒΏπŸ¦‹ Stage 2 Geography Excursion to Clontarf πŸ¦‹πŸŒΏ

Our Year 3 and 4 students recently enjoyed an exciting Geography excursion to Clontarf, where they explored one of Australia's unique natural environments through hands-on learning experiences.

Working alongside two Rangers, students discovered how environments support people, plants and animals, while learning about sustainability and caring for our natural world. They investigated waterway conservation, built birdhouses, caught and identified insects, and created beach habitats to learn more about local wildlife and ecosystems.

It was a fantastic day of exploration, discovery and environmental stewardship, with plenty of fun along the way!

Yesterday, our Kindergarten students celebrated a very special milestone, 100 Days of Kindy! Dressed as adorable 100-year-olds, they spent the day reflecting on all they have achieved in their learning journey so far and the wonderful friendships they have made along the way.

The celebrations were filled with fun as students sang songs, completed writing activities, made and enjoyed fairy bread, shared popcorn, and proudly received certificates to mark their achievement.

We are so proud of how much our Kindergarten students have grown over the past 100 days. Here's to many more exciting learning adventures ahead!

πŸ’™ Hip hip hooray, we're 100 today! πŸ’™

πŸ’™ Faith, Questions & Learning
Earlier this year, our Year 4 students enjoyed a visit from our Parent Engagement Coordinator, who shared more about her role in our school community and answered some thoughtful questions about faith. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to deepen their understanding and curiosity through meaningful conversation. πŸ™
