We are a co-educational Catholic secondary college administered by Brisbane Catholic Education.

Our motto “In Omnibus Deus”, Latin for “God in All Things” underpins all that we do and the way that we do it. Our 2026 Year 12 Pastoral Leader, Mr Shepherd brings more than 20 years of experience in HPE and Certificate III in Fitness. His favourite part of the role? Supporting senior students as they grow as leaders and achieve their full potential.

We're proud to have Mr Shepherd guiding and inspiring our Year 12 cohort in their final year at St Benedict's College.

Connection starts with a simple conversation. ☕

Last week, students enjoyed a warm Milo served by the Rosies - Friends On The Street team during a special morning focused on community and connection.

Rosies supports people who are homeless, at risk, lonely or socially isolated, creating opportunities for friendship and belonging through genuine human connection.

We are grateful to the Rosies team for sharing their mission with our students and for inspiring us all to look out for one another with kindness, compassion and respect. 💙

2026 Secondary Schools Cup Champions🏆

What an incredible achievement by our St Benedict’s College bowlers at the 2026 Bowls QLD Secondary Schools Cup!

Competing against 14 teams from across the state, both of our teams delivered outstanding performances. Congratulations to Rory and Mitch, who won 7 of their 9 games to finish equal second and third overall.

A special congratulations to Jenna and Ben, who completed a flawless campaign with 9 wins from 9 games and an impressive +112 shot differential, earning the title of 2026 Bowls QLD Secondary Schools Cup State Champions! 🥇🎉

🔬🧪 Science Week at St Benedict’s College!
From giant bubbles and salty snowflakes to slime-making, STEM MAD showcases and our Science Fair, students embraced a week of hands-on learning, creativity and discovery this week.

Science Week provided a wonderful opportunity for students to explore the world around them, ask questions, experiment, and discover the many ways science shapes our everyday lives.

Thank you to our staff and students who helped make this year’s celebrations such a success.

What a season for our SBC dancers! 💃

Across the Dance X and Quota Beenleigh competitions, our talented students showcased six dynamic routines spanning Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary and a student-choreographed performance.

Highlights included 🥈 2nd Place for Junior Jazz, a Highly Commended award for Junior Contemporary at Quota Beenleigh, and a 5th Place finish at Dance X, securing a place in the State Finals!

We are incredibly proud of our dancers for their commitment, resilience and teamwork. A heartfelt thank you to Ms Gahan, Ms Combes, Ms Karati and Ms Camilleri, as well as our supportive dance families, for helping make this season such a success.

Congratulations to our talented St Benedict's College musicians on their outstanding performances at the Queensland Catholic Schools Music Festival!

🥈 Concert Band received a Silver Award under the direction of Mr Michael White.

🥇 Benedict's Voices (choir) achieved a Gold Award, led by Mr Regan Samuels with accompanist Eli J Ball.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their dedication, hard work and musical excellence. Well done to all involved! 👏
