Hi everyone, Im currently taking applications for a fun filled school holiday vacation care program for school aged children for these upcoming Christmas holidays 13th Dec - 21st Jan
I run my family day care in Capestone, I’m registered with Peace Of Mind FDC
I’m Diploma qualified, with full CCS rebates being applied.

I have a large yard with space to run and play, activities include cooking,
sand play, water play, science, excursions and so much more
Operating hours 6am - 5pm

NAIDOC 2020
Today the children gathered treasures from the bush for us to use.
So much imagination is inspired by just playing with a stick, it’s one of their favourite “toys” here at Haylo’s Family Day Care.

Today we explored the use of sticks in indigenous culture.......a digging stick, a hunting stick, a message stick, a clapping stick, a fire stick, or making tools.
We painted our special sticks and bark we found and explored the use of aboriginal symbols to tell stories, we created our own stories and messages to share.

🎃 🌼 Halloween spring pumpkin STEM investigations.
So much joy and learning at Haylo’s FDC out of one pumpkin.

🙌🏻 First we scooped out the pumpkin guts, and carved a face for Halloween decorations, we used the inside for pumpkin soup sensory play

🧮 Numeracy - We washed, gathered and counted out pumpkin seeds, we coloured them and sorted them into groups before using them in our craft

🍪 🎃 Cooking - We used pumpkin mash to make pumpkin choc chip cookie treats, lots of counting, measuring, pouring, smelling, mixing and eventually taste testing!

🌱 Seed exploring - we dried, coloured, taste tested some roasted seeds and planted fresh seeds inside our pumpkin head. We created mini green houses to see if we can observe the changes that occur when planting a seed.

Hello and welcome to my family day care page. My name is Hayley and I have been running my family day care business since 2011..... and I still love it today as much as I did the day I started!
In the first year of being open I won regional educator of the year and I knew I was doing exactly what I was supposed to be doing.
My qualifications include a certificate 3 and diploma in early childhood services. My passion is creating a fun learning environment, that will engage your child in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
