Why portioning snacks is important.
Just a handful of chips is 2 servings!!!
Don’t ask me how they measure their serving sizes 🤦🏽♂️
268 calories!! That’s how easily a “Snack” can put you in a calorie surplus.
On the plus side it shows how just making some small changes to your lifestyle can make a big difference.
That’s just one step towards living a healthy lifestyle without giving up everything you love.

Why the scales are bu****it!
First of all congratulations to Jack Baker on his massive transformation.
Now if we were just looking at scale weight all it shows is that he lost about 9kg, still a great result!
If we look a little closer what actually happened was he lost 20kg of fat and gained 11kg of muscle!!
40% body fat down to 26%!! (Far more impressive)
I’m super proud of all the hard work he’s put in this is one of the main reasons I do what I do.

If you’re constantly being distracted by social media, Netflix, video games, p**n or drugs and alcohol then of course you’re not gonna have time to pursue your goals.
There’s 168 hours in a week!
Minus 56 for sleep - 60 for work leaves
52 hours.
If you go to the gym for a 1/2 hour 3xpw and spend 2 hours prepping meals
it would take less than 5 hours pw to be in the best shape of your life. You still have 45+ hours a week to “stuff around”
Stop using time as an excuse to give up on your goals.

Around this time last year Kevin came out of hospital with his 2nd hip replacement.
By mid September he was cleared to go back to work!
Fast forward a year and he’s hitting a 90kg PB and lost 10kg of Fat!!

One of the main differences between being a Coach and PT that counts reps is communicating with your clients.
When you take the time to know your clients you can go “off script” for a session to give them what they really need.
In this case instead of doing weights we switched to a boxing session so she could release some pent up emotions that we’re holding here back from moving forward in her grief.
The result: a very happy client and extra business for me win/win
