Oh gosh this amazing friend of mine is incredibly generous - her time, her vision to help me re-order and design my work space in my home studio - she came over yesterday to see how it all came together just in time for the Mandurah Open Studios event. This weekend I had the pleasure of hosting a private workshop for these gorgeous women. My workshop Introductory Botanical Watercolours teaches the basics of watercolours, and the application of techniques to the observation of plant specimens, and includes painting an artwork to take home framed. These ladies knocked it out the park! Thank you for gathering everyone, it was a joy to spend time with you all.

It's on! From today to the end of this weekend only! Down to Earth Pop-up Exhibition at Rockingham Arts Centre. A great selection of nature inspired art from your local artists. I have a small selection of my latest banksia paintings, other botanical works and a selection of prints. All artwork is to purchase off the wall.

How lovely is this! Yesterday marked the celebration of my Homeschool Kids Art exhibition BLOOM which is currently at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on the Mezzanine Floor (follow the big staircase). I am so proud of all my budding artists - these kids have so much creativity, they are a joy to teach, and they were so happy to see their own artworks up at a real gallery!
