A busy week for EC15! 🐝

Tuesday, we practice pattern making starting with pattern boom cards on our interactive board, following patterns using our bodies on a YouTube video and finishing off with drawing patterns on the concrete outside our room. 🍎🍌🍎🍌🍎🍌 what comes next?

Friday is our cooking day! This Friday we made honey joys after one of the children's strong interests in bees and honey making. Some of us enjoyed the honey joys and others admired from afar.

Today M3 Celebrated the Indigenous season of Makuru and practiced sustainability by weaving a Booyi (Turtle) in the Makuru colours.

We were resilient as we tried our best to thread the popsticks with yarn. Sometimes we had to unravel and start again!

Well done M3!

This week in Pre-Kindy we continued with our Twinkle Twinkle Little Star theme. We practised sitting on the mat and joining in with the song, enjoyed searching for stars in the sensory tray, and used sponge stars and paint to create our own star pictures.

We also practised our scissor skills, rolled and shaped playdough stars, and completed a star number-to-quantity activity to develop our early counting skills. During recess, we used our PODD to communicate about our food choices.

At playtime, our imaginations were hard at work as we fed and put the babies to bed and built a Duplo pirate ship.

There was plenty of learning, creativity and play packed into our session this week. Well done, Pre-Kindy!
