Today we celebrate International Women’s Day and the incredible achievements, resilience, and contributions of women everywhere. 💜

This year’s theme, “Balance the Scales,” is a reminder that while progress has been made, true equality requires ongoing action. It’s about recognising the barriers that still exist and working together to create fair opportunities, representation, and outcomes for women in every space.

Today is a chance to reflect, celebrate the women who inspire us, and recommit to building a more balanced and inclusive future.

Yesterday we were proud to attend the Kwinana Early Years Strategy Launch at the Williams Bertram Community Centre. We provided free car restraint fitting and safety checks for local families.

We supported a total of 6 parents, checking a total of 9 car seats across a variety of stages and brands - from capsules through to booster seats. It was great to see families taking the time to ensure their little ones are travelling safely.

Some common mistakes we often see are;
- Loose or twisted harness straps
- Harness sitting too low or too high on the child
- Children moved to the next stage seat too early or children who have grown out of their current seat
- Incorrect use of car seat accessories
