Alumni Post – Mary Durnan
We were very happy to welcome back MCC graduate Mary Durnan during the Future Directions Expo. Mary is now a member of our local Reserve Infantry Unit, based on Garden Island and was here to talk about options that the Army Reserves offer.
Since graduating, Mary has become a mother, a university student, and an active Reserve member. She talks to students about the flexibility and great experiences the Reserve offers when you have other roles. It’s a great opportunity to earn tax-free money, travel, gain transferable skills, and enjoy flexible working arrangements.
Mary still lives in the Mandurah area with her family and supports the ADF Careers team at various events.
