✨ Lighthouse Maths in Action! ✨
This week we welcomed Graham, a Lighthouse Maths (Scitech) facilitator, who worked with our Year 4 and Year 6 students to show how mathematics is applied in real-life contexts. Students were highly engaged as they explored problem-solving and mathematical thinking through hands-on experiences.
As we continue our Lighthouse journey, experiences like this support strong teaching practice and deepen student understanding. We’re excited to see the growth ahead! 🌟

It’s been an incredible year for the St Damien's Catholic Primary School - Dawesville choir, and they’re thrilled to share their outstanding achievements! Under the expert guidance of their dedicated conductor, Mrs. Majella Burns the choir has worked tirelessly, and their hard work has paid off in the most beautiful way.
This year’s Sacramental Masses and school’s liturgical celebrations were truly special. The choir’s passion and dedication to their music were palpable, and their love for singing was evident in every note they sang. Their performances not only enhanced the spiritual experience of our Sacramental Masses but also brought the community together in a shared celebration of faith and music.
