🐝 We’re now part of the Busy Bees family! 🐝

We’re excited to share that our centre is now officially part of the Busy Bees Early Learning network.

While our name has changed, the things that matter most remain the same: the familiar faces, trusted relationships and caring educators who know your child and family.

As part of Busy Bees, our centre is now connected to a wider network of early learning centres across Australia, with a shared commitment to giving every child the best start in life.

We’re so excited for this next chapter and all that it will bring for our children, families and team.

Thank you to our wonderful families for being part of the journey. We’re proud to welcome you to the Hive! 🐝✨

This week, our service proudly celebrated NAIDOC Week by engaging in meaningful experiences that helped our children learn about and appreciate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and traditions.

The children explored traditional Aboriginal symbols by creating beautiful sand drawings, encouraging their creativity💚

They also enjoyed making and tasting damper, providing a hands-on opportunity to experience a traditional food💙

By celebrating NAIDOC Week together, we continue to foster inclusive learning environments where children develop respect, curiosity and appreciation for the world's oldest continuing cultures. ❤️🖤💛

Yesterday our Nursery children had a wonderful time visiting the Lakelands Library for their Rhyme time session💛

Singing songs, joining in with actions and interacting with others gave the children the opportunity to develop their language and communication skills in an exciting and engaging environment.

Trips into the community like this help children build confidence, develop social skills, and foster a lifelong love of learning. We are so proud of how beautifully the children participated and can't wait for our next library adventure! 💛📖✨

Rainy days didn't stop the fun this Friday🌧️☘️
With the weather keeping us under cover, the children embraced a variety of engaging indoor experiences that encouraged creativity, teamwork and exploration.

The children worked together on a large group painting, sharing ideas, taking turns and creating a collaborative masterpiece. 🎨Group art experiences help develop communication skills, cooperation, social confidence and a sense of belonging as children work towards a shared goal.

One of the highlights of the day was creating a green lava volcano using bicarb soda and vinegar! The children watched in amazement as the fizzy eruption bubbled over, introducing them to early science concepts such as cause and effect and prediction.🦖🌋

Rain or shine, every day provides opportunities for meaningful learning through play, discovery and shared experiences! 💛

This week our Toddler 2 and Kindy children have been busy exploring, creating and learning through a range of exciting planned experiences! 🌟
Our Kindy children enjoyed painting self-portraits while using mirrors to observe their own unique features. Looking closely at themselves encourages self-awareness, confidence and identity, while also strengthening observation skills and fine motor development.🪞

In Toddler 2, the children worked on their fine motor skills through the use of pipettes. 🎨 Art based learning fosters your little ones creativity and experimentation in a fun and engaging way!

Following our Toddler 2 current curiosity with bugs, we set up a bee-themed sensory tray where they explored different textures and materials. Sensory experiences support problem-solving and imaginative thinking, while extending children's interests through meaningful, play-based learning.🐝
We love following the children's interests and creating experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity and a love of learning every day!

🌏 World Environment Day 🌏

Today, our children became little environmental heroes! Through a hands-on scooping activity, they worked together to remove “rubbish” from the water, learning about the importance of keeping our waterways clean and protecting our environment. 💙♻️

Experiences like these help children develop an understanding of how their actions can make a positive difference to the world around them. Together, we are nurturing future generations who care for our planet and the creatures that call it home. 🌱

Today our Nursery room explored an exciting oobleck sensory experience!
Through squeezing, touching and splashing the interesting texture, it allows for children to discover their investigative learning.

Sensory play is a fantastic way for children, especially those under 18 months, to develop and strengthen their fine motor skills whilst simultaneously fostering curiosity.

Thankyou so much to our amazing Nursery staff who created this exciting and sensory rich experience. It was beautiful to see how much our Nursery friends enjoyed this messy play 💚

This morning we joined in with National Simultaneous Story Time! 📚The children enjoyed joining togther to listen to Luna Roo: The Kangroo Baller. It was a great opportunity for group learning in a fun and engaging way!
