First run in over 3 months! Yes! And it felt amazing. You wouldn't know that I had hip surgery back in May. How did I go from no running straight into 30mins/4.5kms? The little things - 10mins each morning of physio. Another 10mins after lunch. Day after day. Some days it didn't go so well. Other days I did it 3 times. I fuelled my body rather than filled my body - I wasn't as active (ok so I wasn't active at all....) so I reduced my portion sizes, ensure I had veggies & protein at every meal. I still had chocolate. I still ate ice cream. But not every day. I focused on recovery - phone off before bed, light stretching (within my surgeons guidelines), writing all my frustrations and thoughts in my head into my journal so they didn't annoy me while was trying to sleep. Most of what I was doing only took 10mins here and there. Some not even 10mins.
You could start today with one 10min action that builds into you achieving your goals. So tell me, what 1 action can you do that takes you from "I want to..." or "I wish I could..." to "look what I have just done!"
