~ THANK YOU ~
This week will be my last drop in guided yoga nidra meditation session
After 7 years I have decided it is time to focus my attention on all the wonderful project & programs I am working on now, that essentially were birthed out of my time here at Happy Melon. (I will still be here teaching in the teacher training & stay tuned for more rest immersions)
From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank the team, past & present for believing in me and the powerful practices we all share.
Thank you to everyone who dropped in & took the time to rest their mind, body & hearts in the sanctuary & refuge of the Goddess Yoga Nidra and the techniques of deep relaxation.

~ COVID & THE STARS ~
I’ve been away from technology for 10 glorious days & I caught covid.
While we were all locked away, unable to travel or leave our homes at different times during the past few years, I was dreaming of being on a deserted island.
Well…I manifested that dream, but I don’t remember asking the universe for corona virus.
Once again, the emotion I experienced was appreciation and gratitude! Gratitude just to be alive, to be well enough to cope with the virus. Grateful to have the privilege to travel again, to explore and see new things. Massive appreciation for the exquisiteness of our natural world- the earth, the creatures above & below the sea and the stars in the sky. Most of all grateful to literally have no choice but to stop, rest & be still for a period of time. To appreciate my family, friends and for the work that I get to do in the world.
I’m almost home ~ and want to let you know I’ll be out of action for one more week. I will be back guiding yoga nidra next Thursday, but in the mean time the gorgeous will be filling in.

~ PROCRASTINATION ~
I’ve been procrastinating! I’m watching myself do anything except the thing that I need to do. And to be clear, that thing is something I love…especially when it’s competed. Actually, once I get into it, I do enjoy the process. (I’m talking about creating new guided meditations).
What is it about getting started? I find it hard. I realise it’s all about setting the stage, having a plan and finally motivation.
What motivates me ~ cold water exposure!! The research tells us that deliberate cold exposure causes a significant release of adrenaline & noradrenaline in the brain & body. These neurochemicals make us feel alert, increase levels of energy, focus & enhance our mood. Cold exposure causes the prolonged release of dopamine ~ the powerful molecule capable of elevating mood, enhancing focus, attention & goal directed behaviour. (According to )
Now I set the stage~ I set myself up with all my supports & guides (notice the books in the 📸). I light a candle to remind me of my inner light & to support the passage into a different mode of being.
Finally, I start with a plan. Often I will make a mind map or jot down some headings to expand on.
Now it’s time to create…! And get off Instagram!!! ☺️
