The Music World Award has arrived, and is officially OPEN for registrations 🥳

We are excited to announce our very first Award! Open to not only Music World students, but also to the public. This is an opportunity to create a platform for students to share their achievements in a safe and friendly environment. We are particularly excited for all the Awards we get to hand out! 🏆 🏅

We are excited to welcome back David Berlin (Principal Cellist of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra) to share his expertise with some of our lucky cello students this coming Saturday 9th May. If you love the cello, this is definitely one to not miss! 😄🎶

We are now well and truly into 2026 as we begin term 2! So many exciting things coming up to share with you all, but first a quick throwback to our term 1 recitals in both Malvern East and Point Cook campuses. Well done to all students and teachers 🎶

We are very excited to have the incredibly talented and most wonderful Eliza Shephard come and share her experience and knowledge with some of our lucky flute students in the upcoming Masterclass!

ABC Young Performer of the Year Eliza Shephard is a vibrant flutist and is paving her way as a performing artist, collaborator, and curator. Eliza is passionate about amplifying the voices of female musicians and composers and her 6-year ‘March of the Women’ recording project showcases 180+ works by women. Eliza is a Teaching Associate and Sessional Academic at Monash University and is an Ian Potter Emerging Performers Fellow. She is proud to be a Haynes Artist.

Music World Dynamite Trio (Matthew, Dylan, Nathan) - 3rd place in the under 15yo category for Monash Youth Music Fesitval.

Millie - 2nd place in the under 9yo Strings for Boorondara

George - Honourable Mention in the under 9yo Strings for Boorondara

Chris - Finalist in the under 14yo piano solos for Boorondara.

Well done to all! A fantastic achievement you should all be proud of. We certainly are 😄🎉

And we're back! Term 3 is underway and we have some exciting events to share.

Since term 2, many of our students and teachers have been working hard at weekly rehearsals for our upcoming Annual Showcase on Saturday 16th August held at the James Tatoulis Auditorium (Methodist Ladies' College, Kew). This will be a very exciting evening of ensemble and duet performances!

We also have the very talented and wonderful Eliza Shephard providing a Masterclass for our Flute students in September!
