As part of our Joy in Action journey, we’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Little Trix Nursery in Tolga and Burrawong Nursery in Malanda for their incredible generosity in donating plants and garden materials to help us build our outdoor spaces.

Creating a beautiful, established playscape is a journey that takes time, care and investment. Thanks to the support of these wonderful local businesses, our children will have even more opportunities to connect with nature, spark their curiosity and create lasting memories in a thriving outdoor environment.

We are also incredibly grateful to Ms Heidi and Ms Teneale’s husbands for so graciously coming in and helping with Kindy jobs. They truly understand the life of a Kindy teacher and continue to step up to the crazy requests… every… single… time without hesitation. Your support, humour and willingness to jump in wherever needed does not go unnoticed and is deeply appreciated.

We are so grateful for community-minded businesses who believe in investing in children and helping us create spaces where joy, wonder and belonging can flourish.

Not quite sure what ‘Joy in action’ looks like?

The recent C&K annual early childhood conference celebrated creativity, play-based learning, and cultural connection through keynote presentations, interactive workshops, and trade exhibits.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful team for supporting Ms Heidi and Ms Teneale to attend this professional learning opportunity and for keeping everything running so smoothly back at kindy.

Last Friday night we had our Kindy Trivia fundraiser. The Committee and Staff would like to thank the Big Pub for accommodating everyone, the many local businesses that donated and the Malanda School for the whiteboard. The generosity shown by the community is appreciated and we will be using funds raised to purchase a projector for the children to interact and explore with. Thank you to the many teams who dressed throughout the decades (we were very impressed) 😉
