We wanted to let you know that from now on, all Playgroup posts will be shared on the Malanda State School page. Please note that this page is not being deactivated – you will still be able to access it, but the weekly posts will now be posted each Sunday afternoon over on the school page.

🎉 Hello Malanda Playgroup Families! 🎉

We’re kicking off the year with our first Playgroup of 2025 this coming Tuesday 11th February! Come join us for a fun-filled morning of laughter, play, and fun from 9am at Malanda State School - Library Meeting Room.

Come along and meet Miss Megan, our Playgroup Co-ordinator this year. You will still see Vanessa each fortnight as she joins us as part of her Every Family - Tablelands role.

The weekly focus will be posted on the Malanda State School page each Sunday evening.

It’s going to be a blast, so don’t forget to spread the word and invite a friend! We look forward to seeing you there!!

Lots of workshops and parenting programs available. If you can’t make it face to face, you can do it online via Zoom.
Registrations are essential 🫶🏼

Our Every Family Team has a schedule packed with parenting programs like Circle of Security, Bringing Up Great Kids and parenting workshops on different topics. Some are face to face and some are online and you can do them from the comfort of your own home.

To book, please send us a DM, call or email. All our programs and workshops are free to residents of the Atherton Tablelands and Mareeba regions.

Hello Malanda Playgroup friends!! Hope everyone is having a lovely summer holidays. School is back next Tuesday, 28th January, but Playgroup not just yet...

What a way to end the year!!! Thanks to everyone who came today, and helped decorate cookies, played, read, made reindeer food and welcomed Santa to Playgroup!! We had a lovely morning and hope you and your little people did too 🥰

Thanks everyone who joins us weekly, or monthly, or whenever you can. Mandy and I believe playgroups are a place where parents can meet other parents, feel welcome and safe. And where little people can have fun, learn, and make little friends ❤️

Thanks to Malanda State School and everyone behind the scenes for making playgroup possible.

Thanks to our lovely Kerri-lee Hayes and her amazing coffee, babycinos and squeaky ducks 🤣 and always welcoming everyone with a smile.

Thanks to all the parents who help pack up and keep an eye on other parents’ children when they try to escape or you need to collect your coffee, or need a bathroom break!

It has been an absolute privilege to have been part of your weeks this year and for the last few years. And seeing your little people grow! Especially the 4 friends who are off to Prep next year. We will miss you! ❤️

***LAST PLAYGROUP OF 2024*** 😱😪🎄

We will have some Christmas fun and so some activities and we will have a special visitor at 10am (remember to bring a small wrapped present with your child's name on it, if you'd like Santa to hand it to them and place sneakily in Kerri's car, right next to coffee van 😉) We will also have the usual toys and activities.

Bring a small plate to share as we all have a Christmas morning tea together 😄

We will say bye-bye to our small friends who are off to Prep next year too... 😌It's been so lovely watching them grow and be part of this amazing playgroup community for the last few years!!

See you on Tuesday from 9am!!!

Thanks to all of you who came to Playgroup on Tuesday and got in the spirit of Christmas!! Little hands were busy decorating ornaments, gingerbread men, cards, playing with playdough! 🎉🥰
