Today, our caterpillar and butterfly friends built three houses of hay, sticks and bricks, inspired by the Three Little Pigs book. Firstly, they helped to collect sticks in the yard and then, continued to build the pig houses by applying glue on the cardboard, sticking hay, sticks and little brick pieces on the cardboard.

⭐️Years of service awards⭐️

Last night at our staff meeting we celebrated years of service awards! Taylah put together a small presentation to celebrate each educator!

⭐️ Tay is celebrating her 3 years of service

Here at story house, we pride ourself on celebrating our staff and their achievements! while also supporting consistency within our service!

💚Recycled Materials 💚

Today within our outdoor yard, the butterfly and caterpillar friends used recycled boxes to paint, once the boxes were dry they used them to create cubby houses, buildings and much, much more!

Within our service our Bumblebug friends have been extending their learning on from our NAIDOC Week experiences. The children have developed an interest in fire, which led to the discussion of a campfire. With the children's keen interest in campfires, we have set up a camping area for them to explore and role-play what camping looks like for them. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

This week we celebrated Pyjama week across our service! Our friends and educators dressed in their comfiest PJs to raise money for children in foster care!
This week we raised $81.30! Thank you to everyone who donated and got behind this amazing cause!
