Today we proudly presented our Year 12 students with their leavers' jackets – a special milestone.

We hope our Year 12s wear them with pride, knowing they are role models for the younger students in our school community.

Congratulations to our Class of 2026 – we look forward to celebrating many more memorable moments with you in your final year. 💙

(normal day for students at tafe & workplacement)
📌Monday 1 June – WA Day Public Holiday

Today our school community paused to acknowledge National Sorry Day. Together, we reflected on the history and impact of the Stolen Generations and took time to learn, listen, and honour the strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

All hands on deck to help with Community lunch today.

Reminder: School is back for all staff and students on Monday 20 April.

Alloa Road is now a school zone!

Thank you to Main Roads WA for installing the signs. Fingers crossed that this helps to control the traffic and make it safer for our students making their way to and from school.

Thank you also to City of Gosnells for their ongoing support in trying to increase the safety of our students.

🙂 Staffing update 🙂

As our Principal, Sara, takes leave for Term 1, we are pleased to welcome Jess from Ursula Frayne Catholic College, who will be stepping in as our Acting Principal.
Jess brings a wealth of leadership experience, a calm and considered approach, and a genuine dedication to supporting both students and staff. Her warm presence and strong educational background make her a wonderful fit to guide St Francis’ School during Sara’s time away.
We are grateful to have someone of Jess’s calibre joining us for the term, and we look forward to the positivity and insight she will bring to our community.

We are delighted to welcome John to St Francis’ School as our new Deputy Principal for 2026.
John joins us from Lumen Christi College, where he served as a highly respected Head of Year. He brings with him a wealth of experience, strong leadership, and a genuine commitment to fostering a positive, supportive school community.
From the moment we met John, it was clear he would be a wonderful fit for our school. His calm presence, student centred approach, and passion for education will be an asset to our staff, students, and families.

We are excited to introduce Jess as the newest member of the St Francis’ School community, joining us this year as our Social Worker.
Jess comes to us from St Clare’s School, where she made a remarkable impact supporting students and families with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. She is truly fantastic at what she does, and we feel very fortunate to have her expertise and warm presence at our school.
Jess is deeply committed to student wellbeing and brings a wealth of experience in building strong, trusting relationships. We know she will be a wonderful support for our young people and a valued addition to our wellbeing team.
